December is fast approaching, meaning Christmas is just around the corner. Now is the perfect time to embrace the holiday spirit by starting your gift shopping. Investing in new gym clothes, supplements, or accessories can serve as a great source of motivation for your fitness journey. Whether it’s treating yourself or finding the perfect gift for someone you know who loves fitness, these choices can really elevate your gym experience.

A HOODIE

Since it’s winter, having a quality gym hoodie isn’t just practical, it’ll be a nice addition to your wardrobe. Having a comfortable, baggy fit might even make you feel like a bit more of a beast in the gym.

I’m not just saying this because I work for One Coaching, but the One Coaching hoodies are actually elite. They’re also super inexpensive. They are around £25, depending on shipping, and they come in a wide range of colours and sizes. Drop one of our coaches a message and they’ll be able to hook you up. A good hoodie is always a solid choice.

LIFTING STRAPS

Lifting straps are good for many reasons:

  • They improve grip
  • Prevent grip failure
  • Help you lift heavier weight for longer
  • Support your wrists
  • Reduce forearm fatigue

While lifting straps aren’t essential, they can really take your training to the next level, allowing you to push that little bit harder.

You can purchase them from places like Bulk, Gymshark, 1MR, MyProtein, or Amazon. They make for a great stocking filler.

PROTEIN POWDER

Protein intake is crucial because it:

  • Helps build muscle
  • Helps repair muscle
  • Helps to lose body fat

Prioritising your protein intake will help you achieve the transformation that you are looking for. If your goal is to lose weight, upping your protein intake will boost your metabolism, leave you feeling fuller for longer and will help you maintain weight loss. If your goal is to get bigger and stronger, eating more protein will increase muscle mass and strength and will help with muscle repair.

You can get good protein powder from most health stores, like Holland and Barrett, or online stores, like MyProtein. But our personal fave at One Coaching is Per4m whey, which you can grab your hand on here. They have a huge amount of great flavours, like carrot cake, cinnamon donut, cookies n creme and caramel biscuit. They are probably one of the best protein powders in the game and sit at around £35.

PROTEIN BARS

For the same reason, protein bars are a great little stocking filler. Or, you can buy them in bulk packs too. Grenade is the GOAT for protein bars, especially their new white chocolate oreo flavour, which you can purchase here, or in many drugstore shops.

HEADPHONES

A good pair of headphones is always a great present, gym lover or not. But having music blasting through your ears can really get you pumped up for a session. So, having a good pair is useful. Headphones don’t have to be a hugely expensive purchase, like Apple headphones (they do look super cool though), I use JBL ones and they’ve lasted years, that cost around £30 and are great.

ONE COACHING SUBSCRIPTION

I know, we are plugging ourselves quite a bit here. But, a coaching subscription is a great present to either yourself, or someone who really wants to transform their lifestyle. At One Coaching, we cater to all kinds of fitness, lifestyle and goals. It’s an investment, but you’re investing into yourself, and it’s so worth it. You can read a blog post here to see why.
