Are you thinking about signing up, but you’re unsure? Here’s some words from one of our clients, Ellie, telling you all about her journey with one of our coaches.

Why did you sign up to One Coaching? 

I signed up to One Coaching because I’d been struggling with my progress in the gym and wanted someone that I could trust to lead me in the right direction.

What did you want to get out of working with a coach? 

My main aim of working with a coach was to complete a diet in which I felt proud of my progress at the end, the added accountability was vital in my success. 

What is your overarching fitness goal?

In the long term I want to gain muscle and be able to sustain a physique I am confident in.

How has having a coach helped you work towards your goals? 

So far, I’ve completed one diet. I was so proud of myself, I ended up the leanest I had ever been. Since then I have started my first ever serious gaining phase and I’m becoming more comfortable with eating more.

What have you learnt from working with a coach? (in terms of diet, educationally, or how to manage it all etc) 

From working with Ryan, I’ve learnt that I need to have sufficient rests in a diet to stop myself burning out and I’ve learnt how to improve my lifts even when I thought they were pretty good! 

How has embarking on this part of your fitness journey affected your lifestyle? 

I’ve learnt how to have a better balance in my life when it comes to growing a physique I am proud of, as well as enjoying my social life.

Can you give us any insight into how your life is balanced in terms of fitness & socialising & work – has having a coach helped with this? 

My life as a teacher is super busy, so Ryan has helped me to implement a split that is manageable while working full time and also making sure I do the things that make me happy.

What would you say to people who are thinking about getting a coach, but aren’t sure? 

Definitely start your journey, your progress will sky rocket when you start with one of the One Coaching boys!
